Culture Night / Oíche Chultúir 2026

Culture Night / Oíche Chultúir is a national moment that celebrates the richness and diversity of culture in Ireland today — and Clare plays its part with a countywide programme of events, workshops, and performances. Every September, arts and cultural spaces across Clare open their doors late into the evening, welcoming people to experience and celebrate creativity in all its forms.

The event connects artists, makers, performers, and audiences in a shared celebration of belonging, discovery, and expression. From intimate sessions in local galleries and libraries to outdoor performances, storytelling, and heritage experiences, Culture Night invites everyone to take part — to discover something new, meet new people, and see familiar places in a different light.

The Clare programme is delivered locally in partnership with the national Culture Night / Oíche Chultúir initiative, coordinated by the Arts Council and supported by local authorities across Ireland. All events are free of charge and open to all, with full details available through the national programme website and local listings for County Clare.

The national website is www.culturenight.ie and a listing of events will feature nearer to the date
