Sheedy’s is a boutique four-star hotel in the Burren and Cliffs of Moher UNESCO Global Geopark, owned by John and Martina Sheedy. It has been in the Sheedy family since the early 1700s, passed down the line for four generations. The house was converted into a hotel in the 1930s and has grown in reputation as one of County Clare’s premium destinations.
The restaurant at Sheedy’s holds two rosettes from the AA. As members of the Burren Ecotourism Network, John and Martina Sheedy have built a strong relationship with food suppliers in the Burren.
The hotel is just 10 km from the iconic Cliffs of Moher Visitor Centre. During the season, authentic Irish music can be found in the local pubs in the villages of Lisdoonvarna and Doolin.

The hotel was awarded Good Hotel Guide Editor’s Choice for Walking Breaks 2022. This was their second occasion to receive this award.

The restaurant at Sheedy’s is open for dinner on Monday to Saturday evenings from Easter to September inclusive. A reservation is advisable.
