Celtic Surf School aim to provide a great surfing experience that will become one of the many highlights of your holiday along the Wild Atlantic Way. They share the experience they have learned over the years to help you discover the art of surfing and want to see a smile on your face when you catch your first wave.
The school is an Irish Surfing Association-approved school. They offer group surf lessons, kids/teens surf camps, individual surf lessons, stand-up paddle boarding, surfboard and wetsuits rental, and group bookings.
The school is in Spanish Point, on the beautiful west coast of County Clare. This village is on the R482 road between Miltown Malbay and Quilty. It has a beautiful long sandy beach within a sheltered location, making it a family-friendly shore, perfect for surfing and sandcastle-building. The beach is located on the northern side of the village and has ample parking. Its high waves, rolling in from the Atlantic Ocean, are popular with surfers and swimmers alike, and surfing schools operate there in summer. Picnic benches are dotted along the beach for those that love to picnic at the seaside. If you’re a seasoned surfer and paddle into big waves, Spanish Point is the place for you.
