Ballymorris Pottery and Pottery School is set in a 17th-century farmyard not far from the banks of the River Shannon and easy to find just off the N18. It welcomes both international and local visitors to view the stunning pottery made on-site. Or, have a go at creating your own piece within the pottery school.

At Ballymorris Pottery, you can find a beautiful selection of handmade stoneware pottery and ceramics. They specialise in bespoke pieces made to order, and their style is classic and contemporary, using positive shapes and strong colours to create distinctive imagery, often using spiral sgraffito decoration.

The Pottery School runs pottery parties for all ages, regular pottery classes, summer camps, school tours and team-building events – fun activities to suit all. Each event is tailored to make the occasion suit your needs.

Pottery Parties are not just a great children’s party idea, creating pottery is a wonderfully therapeutic and social activity for adults too. Great for hen parties, office parties, or just a night out with a difference. Don’t worry if you’re not an “artist” the tutors have plenty of ideas and inspiration.

Beautiful Baby prints are created too at the pottery. Booking is always advised.
