Join your hosts Cathal O’Rourke, a fifth-generation farmer and his wife Bronagh, a regional eco-tour guide and park ranger to explore their working family farm in the Burren. Be awe-inspired by dramatic lunar-like landscapes, ancient woodlands, archaeological sites, glistening lakes, and habitats teeming with wildlife and rare plant species unique to the region. Learn about the ancient farming practice of transhumance that helps conserve and protect the landscape. Try forest bathing in the ancient woodland and feast on rustic picnics or lunch with delicious local produce for a truly authentic Irish experience.

The Burren Farm Experience is set on almost 500 acres in Kylecreen, Boston, County Clare. It lies on the magnificent mid-west coast of Ireland and is not far from the Cliffs of Moher. With so much to explore, make it part of your Burren adventure!
