Clare Heritage & Genealogy Centre is the longest-established genealogy centre in Ireland. It offers a professional genealogical research service for those wishing to trace their Irish ancestry, particularly in Co. Clare.

Founded in 1982, the flagship genealogy centre has the largest collection of family history material housed in any one place to enable persons with Co. Clare roots to trace their forebears.

The Parochial registers (baptismal and marriage) from all of Co. Clare’s 47 parishes form the core of a unique database that includes a range of civil records (birth, marriages and deaths), property, estate and landlord records, census returns, cemetery records, school records, emigration records, obituary and marriage notices, historical and estate maps, and parish histories.
