Original paintings and fine art prints of the Cliffs of Moher, the Burren, and the Wild Atlantic Way are available from the artist’s studio.

Doreen Drennan Art Studio & Garden, which is situated between Lisdoonvarna and Doolin invites you to meet the artist and visit her exhibition of original oil paintings and fine art prints of the Wild Atlantic Way.

Doreen Drennan is a modern impressionist painter who has documented the Burren region and the Wild Atlantic Way for over 30 years.

Doreen has spent her life on the Atlantic; born on Achill Island and later moving to Lisdoonvarna, Co. Clare. Through years of observation, she has developed an acute understanding of the West of Ireland and continually strives to perfect its natural beauty onto canvas.

Her preferred medium is oil paint. She utilises brush and knife techniques to execute the challenging form, texture, colour and depth of her surroundings. Subjects range from the wildness of the Atlantic to the rugged marks left on the landscape by the sea. She is noted for her ability to capture the changing atmospheric skylines above the Atlantic.

A visitor to Doreen’s Art Studio will meet the artist who is happy to show her work, and tell the story behind each painting.

Her studio is surrounded by her gardens which are open to visitors and set against the backdrop of the Cliffs of Moher.

Doreen Drennan is the winner of the Daler-Rowney International Seascape painting competition 2018. Her work is included in several international corporate and private collections and was featured on the cover of one of the renowned Maeve Binchy novels.

Residing in the heart of the Wild Atlantic Way, Doreen Drennan Art Studio & Garden welcomes visitors to the studio year-round and to the garden from May to September.
