The Ennis Trad Festival is one of the flagship events in Ireland’s traditional music calendar, dedicated to celebrating, sustaining, and evolving the rich musical heritage of Ennis and County Clare.

The festival is a five-day celebration of Irish traditional music each November in Ennis. Building on 30 years of success, the festival will present a series of marquee concerts, an extensive session trail, album and book launches, masterclasses, workshops, youth-focused “trad4teens” events and Irish language gatherings. The programme will showcase leading national and international performers alongside Clare-based artists.

At the heart of the festival is a strong commitment to the local community. Ennis has a long-standing reputation as a centre of traditional Irish music, and the festival actively showcases this heritage by providing performance opportunities for local artists and highlighting the diversity of Clare’s regional styles.

Alongside this, the festival brings leading national and international performers to Ennis, fostering cultural exchange and ensuring that local audiences experience both tradition and innovation at the highest level.
