Prize Details:

You have the opportunity to win a return stay at the Clare Hotel, where you originally stayed between March 1 and October 31, 2024. The prize includes a two-night break for two people sharing a room, with breakfast on both mornings and dinner on one evening of your choice. This prize can be redeemed between November 1, 2024, and November 30, 2025, and is subject to the hotel’s availability at that time.

Complete the online entry via this link or via the banner link below and provide the name of the hotel where you stayed (between March 1 and October 31, 2024) and the date of your arrival. You will also need to answer a simple question about County Clare.

Lucky Break Prize Details and Terms and Conditions

Eligibility: This competition is open to individuals who have stayed at a participating hotel in County Clare between March 1 and October 31, 2024. Only one entry is permitted per booking party.

Prize Details: Winners will receive a two-night break for two people sharing a room, with breakfast on both mornings and dinner on one evening of their choice. The stay will be at the hotel originally booked. This prize is redeemable between November 1, 2024, and November 30, 2025, subject to the hotel’s availability at that time. Each participating hotel is providing a prize.

Competition Entry: To enter, participants must complete the online entry form (link above), providing the name of the hotel where they stayed, the name in which the booking was made and the date of arrival at their hotel. They must also correctly answer a very simple question about County Clare, with two possible answers.

Winner Selection and Validation: Winners will be selected through a random draw from all eligible entries that have correctly answered the quiz question. The selected winner’s hotel stay will be validated by the hotel where they stayed, using the name in which the booking was made and the date of arrival at their hotel as per the entry form.

Uncontactable Winner: If a winner cannot be contacted within 14 days of the draw, they will forfeit the prize, and a reserve winner will be selected from the remaining entries. This process will continue until a contactable winner is confirmed.

Prize Fulfilment: The hotel where the winner originally stayed is responsible for fulfilling the prize. Each participating hotel is solely responsible for providing the prize as detailed in these terms and conditions and for ensuring the prize is redeemed in accordance with the specified dates and conditions.

Exclusions: The prize does not cover travel or any other expenses, which are the sole responsibility of the winner. Visit Clare Tourism and the participating hotels are not responsible for any additional costs.

Liability: Visit Clare Tourism and the participating hotels do not accept liability for any injuries, loss, death, or damages incurred as a result of accepting or using the prize.

Prize Restrictions: The prize is non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash or other alternatives. It must be accepted as awarded.

Entry Period: Entries must be submitted by October 31, 2024. Late entries will not be considered.

Data Protection: Personal data submitted during the competition will be processed in compliance with the promoter’s privacy policy and applicable data protection laws. This information will solely be utilised to determine and validate the winners and will not be used for any other purposes. The personal details of non-winning entrants will be deleted following the confirmation of winners. Winners’ contact information will be retained only until the awarded prizes have been fulfilled.

Disqualification: Visit Clare Tourism reserves the right to disqualify any entrant who breaches these terms and conditions or who engages in any improper conduct.

Changes to the Competition: Visit Clare Tourism reserves the right to cancel or amend the competition and these terms and conditions without notice in the event of a catastrophe, war, civil or military disturbance, act of God, or any actual or anticipated breach of any applicable law or regulation or any other event outside Visit Clare Tourism’s control.

Acceptance of Terms: Participation in the competition constitutes the entrant’s full and unconditional agreement to these terms and conditions.

Governing Law: The competition and terms and conditions are governed by Irish law, and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ireland.
