Resonance Lough Derg
Killaloe, East Clare

A microfestival of ideas, music, innovation and inspiration in the twin towns of Killaloe Ballina.
Resonance Festival is a multi-disciplinary gathering that brings together talks and music in intimate, unexpected spaces across the twin towns of Killaloe and Ballina. Rooted in creativity, connection, and innovation, Resonance invites participants to engage deeply with big ideas in small spaces, through keynote speakers, immersive workshops, public art, and meaningful conversations..
Now entering its third year, Resonance offers a uniquely Irish take on the modern ideas festival: community-led, artistically rich, and deeply place-based. Set along the historic River Shannon, the festival explores how creative thinking can shape our cultural, technological, and environmental future.
Resonance is volunteer led, and produced by a not-for-profit CLG and reflects the spirit of grassroots creativity – grounded in authenticity, warmth, and real human connection.
