Doonbeg Fáilte Fest is a three-day community festival taking place from 11–13 September 2026, coinciding with the Amgen Irish Open being held in Doonbeg. The festival is designed not only to welcome those visiting for the golf, but also to create an exciting weekend for non-golf fans, local residents and our wider West Clare community.

The Festival Village will be at the heart of the weekend, with outdoor concerts, live entertainment and family-friendly activities, creating a lively and welcoming atmosphere for all ages.

The West Clare Showcase, hosted in Doonbeg Community Hall, will celebrate the wider region, bringing together local food and craft producers, artists, community groups, tourism providers and cultural experiences. It will give both residents and visitors an opportunity to discover and celebrate all that West Clare has to offer.

Traditional Irish culture will feature strongly throughout the weekend, while Doonbeg’s pubs and local venues will host live music, extending the festival atmosphere throughout the village.

The festival aims to ensure that the excitement of this major sporting occasion extends beyond the golf course and is shared by the whole community. It will encourage visitors to spend time in Doonbeg and explore the wider West Clare area, support local businesses and provide opportunities for local groups, performers and volunteers to participate.

At its heart, Doonbeg Fáilte Fest is a community-led celebration of our people, culture, hospitality and place — bringing residents and visitors together and offering everyone a warm West Clare welcome.
