Clonmore Lodge B&B is a family run enterprise, in business for over 40 years. The lodge sits amidst rolling fields with fantastic views of the lush countryside framed by the majestic majestic Wild Atlantic Way coast.
The Lodge is far removed from the hustle and bustle of everyday life, and is the perfect place to relax after enjoying the many nearby tourist attractions. You’ll see many points of historical interest in the immediate vicinity and they will be glad to sit down with you and explain the stories behind them.
What’s nearby?
The Lodge is ideally situated on the Wild Atlantic Way to explore West Clare. The local beach is a two-minute drive and the popular Spanish Point beach is a five-minute drive.
It’s a 20 minute drive to Lahinch (famous for surfing), 35 mins north to the Cliffs of Moher and the Burren GeoPark, or 30 mins drive south to the spectacular Loophead Peninsula. They are a one-hour drive from Shannon Airport, you just head west until you reach the ocean! There are numerous easting establishments close by ranging from cafés to restaurants and dining pubs.
Early July signals the start of the famous Willie Clancy Irish Traditional Music Festival, although you will find music sessions in most of the local pubs during the summer.
There are quiet country roads around the lodge where you can enjoy a leisurely stroll or jog and take in the beautiful expansive sunrises and sunsets over the Atlantic.
