Their boat, the Clare Dragoon, is purpose-built and licensed to carry up to 12 fishermen to 30 miles off the coast.

Based on the south side of the Loop Head peninsula, where the Shannon estuary meets the rich fishing grounds of Ireland’s southwest coast, the trips depart from the picturesque fishing village of Carrigaholt.

They use their experience to make your fishing trip the best experience possible. They can target any of the species that swim in the waters and help you to improve your catch rate, whether it be lovely fresh fish for the table or just one of the species you want to tick off your catch list.

They have gained experience in catching mighty Sixgill sharks to over a thousand lbs, hard fighting Bluefin Tuna, Blue sharks, Tope, and Porbeagle. They are fished as part of a catch, tag, and release program, which adds to their knowledge of the fish and helps scientists put management plans in place that protect them.

They also specialise in light tackle fishing for whitefish or fishing at the anchor of Conger and Rays.
