Ardboula House

Tulla, East Clare

Self Catering

Ardboula House is an 18th Century, spacious, generously furbished farmhouse with beautiful grounds, including a modern organic Irish kitchen garden. Guests are welcome to harvest in-season produce.

The house sleeps 8 to 12 persons with flexible options. For example, it suits two families, four couples (twin beds that convert to super kings), or corporate bookings.

The expansive balcony overlooks the private grounds and gentle, rolling hills of the rural Irish landscape. Large picture windows in the sunroom bring the garden indoors. There is local fishing with access to several lakes and private off-road parking for several cars. It is peaceful, welcoming and luxurious.

Fabulous walks are available from this superb County Clare farmhouse, and well-stocked loughs are nearby for a spot of fishing. Head to the local towns of Ennis and Gort, where traditional music is a regular feature in the friendly bars and pubs. Visit Lough Derg for cruises and watersports, take a trip to Limerick city for history and culture, and a visit to the Clare coast just an hour away is a must with glorious beaches and spectacular views of the famous Cliffs of Moher and The Burren!

Experience all this before returning to this unique farmhouse near Tulla, an excellent choice for a break anytime of the year. Bus and rail transport is also available from Ennis and Gort (15 to 20 minutes away), and local taxi services are based in Tulla.
