Local activities include sightseeing, walking, hiking, golf, angling, boat trips, swimming, kayaking and other water sports. Scarriff and the nearby village of Tuamgraney offer a choice of shops, pubs and restaurants. Killaloe and Mountshannon are also nearby and well worth a visit.
