Nestled on Doonbeg Bay, this cozy, dog-friendly touring site offers 22 pitches (20 with metered EHU), making it the perfect pitstop along the Wild Atlantic Way.
This campsite is ideally located and designed for guests exploring the breath-taking scenery of the Wild Atlantic Way along the West Coast of Ireland. So whether campers are visiting with a tent and bicycle or looking for a short-stay touring pitch for a caravan, motorhome, or campervan, there are individual pitches designed especially for guests.
Hot shower facilities are included in the price, a fully equipped coin-operated laundry, a dog exercise area, a warm water dog wash, and a full motorhome service point (exclusively for onsite campers to use).
It is a genuine 10-minute walk from the campsite along a flat, directly accessible local road to the centre of the village, which hosts four pubs, two restaurants, and two shops. A local rural bus service is available from Doonbeg, providing onward access to the towns of Kilrush, Kilkee, Lahinch, and Ennis, or further afield around the Loop Head peninsula.
It is located 20km from Shannon Ferries for easy access to and from County Kerry. Booking via the website is highly recommended.
