Explore the hidden waterways of County Clare and let your experienced angling guide, Damien Culliney, take you on an adventure in search of giant pike and wild brown trout. This is where fishing legends are forged in wild, unspoilt beauty.
With over 30 years of fishing experience, Damien is a highly knowledgeable boatman and angling guide. He has a detailed knowledge of the inland waterways of County Clare and the Shannon river system. He is also a talented chef and food lover, combining his two equal passions to create a unique tourist product specialising in authentic fishing adventures and top-quality dining in spectacular natural settings.
Step aboard the Marcraft Commander fishing boat powered by a 115HP Suzuki engine. This boat can achieve high speeds to ensure that clients get safely across the larger sheets of water on the big Shannon lakes. It can switch locations at far greater speeds than most other boats so that clients are always in the right place when the big fish are on the feed.
The boat is well equipped with two Lowrance HDI fish finders, satellite navigation, and a remote control Minn Kota electric engine. For comfort, it has top-grade pedestal seats and marine carpet throughout.
It has all the latest fishing rods, reels, and other equipment. All in all, it is the ultimate fishing machine and waiting for guests of Angler’s Paradise to enjoy!
For clients looking for a steadier pace, they also use the traditional lough (lake) boats. Their original design goes back centuries and sports some beautiful wooden finishes in the interior. They use these boats for drifting with the waves on the lakes and fly fishing for trout.
Anglers Paradise is fully insured and always provides life jackets for every client. Fishing trips are suitable for a minimum of one person and a maximum of four guests.
