The Burren Centre serves as an educational and informative starting point for visitors to the Burren. It includes an exhibition that introduces the UNESCO geopark of the Burren region.The exhibition covers various aspects including the formation, flora, fauna, geology, archaeology, heritage, and music of the area.

Additionally, the Centre is home to a special exhibition dedicated to the world-renowned Kilfenora Ceili Band. There is also a craft shop featuring unique gifts and souvenirs crafted by local artists, alongside a café that offers delicious homemade food and drink.

As the licensed information point for the entire Burren region, the Visitor Centre provides walking maps, vouchers, and advice from the information desk.

Visitors can begin their exploration of the Burren’s magic at this Centre, located in the heart of the historic village of Kilfenora – known as the ‘City of the Crosses’ – adjacent to the ancient Kilfenora Cathedral.
